About Trinity Training

Trinity Training was established in 2014 by Head Teacher Elizabeth Baines and since then has trained staff in a variety of courses and specialist interest areas including ‘Understanding Autism’, ‘Internal Quality Assurance’, ‘Assessor’, ‘Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in the Classroom’ and the ‘Specific Learning Difficulties Diploma (Dyslexia at Level 5)’.

Mrs Baines, who previously trained with St Austell College as an Assessor and has delivered adult vocational learning throughout her career, developed the training facility using OCR and NCFE primarily because she believes in recruiting the right type of people first – those who are passionate about helping our learners – and then to train them to achieve formal qualifications.

Trinity Training now offers a comprehensive programme of qualifications up to Level 5.  There are 40+ members of staff currently studying at different levels in the areas of autism, dyslexia, teacher training, assessor and internal quality assurance.

“I am committed to the development of a Centre of Excellence and this is not possible without both dedicated and professionally trained staff.  We have a rolling programme from induction all the way to senior leadership and have now prepared five members of staff for Level 7 and above courses outside of Trinity Training.”
