Sports and physical activities are important aspects of our curriculum, allowing the children to gain physical skills and a sense of independence which contribute to their academic and personal development and welfare.
An extensive activity programme includes school-based activities and visits to places of interest. Local centres offer excellent facilities for sports such as trampolining and swimming.
Sport is largely non-competitive and designed to give maximum achievement and enjoyment.
Children with motor co-ordination difficulties benefit from the school's Physical Integration Programme and those devised and monitored by the school's Occupational Therapist.
