Senior Department

At Trinity, the transfer to secondary education in Year 7 is handled with care, recognising the anxieties this can pose for students and parents.

The secondary curriculum is a graduated, step-by-step programme of learning, leading to nationally recognised GCSE and skill-based courses.

Excellent local facilities offer students the chance to learn work-related skills, helping to make coursework relevant.

Students continue to receive a high level of input and pastoral care throughout their time in the Senior part of the school, including age-appropriate Speech & Language, Dyslexia and related support.

All students are encouraged to progress to college education at post-16 or can stay on in the school's Sixth Form.

All Trinity students to date have been able to go on to college courses at an appropriate level at post-16 or post-18.
